From his early days in school in Northern Nigeria, specifically Zaria in Kaduna State, Cletus demonstrated exceptional artistic talent, earning him recognition as the most gifted student in his class. His natural ability to capture the essence of his surroundings through vibrant drawings, expressive forms, and bold strokes was evident to all who knew him. Encouraged by teachers and peers alike, Cletus' passion for art only deepened as he grew older.

Determined to hone his skills, Cletus pursued a degree in Industrial Design from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, specializing in ceramics. After graduation, he temporarily set aside art to pursue his passion for human capital development in the corporate world. For about a decade, he excelled in various roles, including personal assistant to the president OF Love for All Nations Ministries, executive assistant and business development manager at Love Portion Creative Hubs, and executive director for marketing at Economic Growth and Development Centre. Despite his success, Cletus felt a void, knowing that something was missing.

Recently, Cletus rediscovered his artistic calling, inspired by a desire to reconnect with his creative roots. He embarked on a journey of exploration, experimenting with wearable art and collaborating with unique wearable artist Victoria. This journey led him back to painting, where he discovered a newfound sense of freedom and expression.

Cletus Zadoc's work explores themes of spirituality, the human condition, and the pursuit of meaning. His art delves into concepts of identity, African heritage, and the impact of heroes and leaders, infusing African symbols from ancient and contemporary cultures. Rooted in his personal spiritual experiences, his work is characterized by bold colors, dynamic brushstrokes, and profound emotional depth.

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Cletus Zadoc is a published author. His book "STARTING LATE" offers insights, encouragement, and practical tools for those who may have strayed from their true passions. Through his experiences, he demonstrates that it's never too late to rediscover one's gifts and make a meaningful impact.

Cletus currently leads a coaching and tutoring initiative, teaching drawing, painting, and other art forms to adults who may not have considered themselves talented or are trying to get back to art. Despite initial doubts, participants have made remarkable progress, proving that it's never too late to discover one's artistic abilities.
